What is Fractional Radio Frequency?
Fractional RF (Radio Frequency) is the next step up from traditional microneedling.
This is the ultimate non-invasive treatment for pore, scar (ice pick, boxcar, rolling scars), deep wrinkles, acne, pigmentation disorders, stretch marks, skin rejuvenation, generating collagen and elastic factor in the skin dermis. Areas that can currently be treated are face, neck & décolleté, and eyes.
The notable difference - FRF uses thermal energy and micro-needle RF to instead target specific and relevant zones of the skin dermis, as opposed to affecting the entire area. Fractional RF Needle (F.R.M.) system, which has a high-frequency energy-absorbing fine needle that selectively radiates high frequencies to the deep dermal layer without damaging the skin layer. This triggers the body's natural response to produce collagen and elastin, as well as activating the sebaceous glands to produce new tissue, narrowing a pore. The outcome: faster wound healing, minimal damage to the skin's epidermal layer translating to faster recovery, and significantly less painful when also paired with anesthetic gels.
Fractional Radio Frequency is equipped with a red light RF micro-needle (adjustable from 0.2mm to 3.0mm by 0.1mm unit) and Dual Metrix thermal RF handpiece, and tailored to specific part(s) of the body.
What to expect.
Following your consultation, the treatment will undergo after application of anesthetic gel 25-30 mins. Typically, 3 to 6 treatments are recommended for optimal results.
You may also experience side effects, however they are mild and minimal. If in the course of treatment you could expect slight bruising, bleeding, and red skin for 24 hours, however it is inevitable, and a part of the healing process.
Results of Fractional RF typically last between 3 to 6 months, depending on skin type, and number of treatments, however you may be given a treatment plan based on your individual results.
